The "Fe-Cr workshop" is arranged twice per year and has become an established venue for constructive discussions on "work in progress" within the field. The 19th workshop in the series is arranged by KTH and will be held in Sala silvermine on November 8-9. As usual, plenty of time is allocated to discussions in-between presentations.
The first day, the workshop will be held above ground. In the evening, a guided tour of the mine will be followed by dinner 155 meters underground. Day 2, the workshop continues underground.
Lodging above ground is arranged in direct vicinity of the mine. A cost of about 100 € will be charged for the room. If you prefer a special experience, the unique mine suite is available at a cost of 3990 SEK (~440 €), on a first come, first served basis. This might sound expensive, but what you get is a 100+ room suite with one hot room and a number of cold pools just for the two of you! Highly recommended!
Please register for the workshop by sending an email to Janne Wallenius, no later than October 9th.
Sala is located a 50 minute train ride from Arlanda airport, with a direct train connection departing every second hour. See SJ for time table and ticket reservations.
